Parent’s Resources

Special education is instruction specifically designed to address the educational and related developmental needs of children with disabilities. Special education is a broad term used to describe specially designed instruction that meets the unique needs of a child who has a disability. These services are provided by agencies like Advanced Therapeutic Concepts, Inc., or the Public School District. Services can include instruction in the classroom, at home, in hospitals and institutions.

This includes Early Intervention Services for infants and toddlers, pre-school for students starting at age three, services for school age children in grades K-12.
